Hot buttered crumpets soaked in honey - Friday afternoon necessity. 🧈 I make these using discarded sourdough starter (hate wasting it) and simply add a pinch of bicarb, a tsp of sugar and a little salt. I oil the crumpet rings with butter as personally I find this helps them stick the least out of all the options I’ve tried, plus it tastes amazing too...
